This little eBook has been in the works for nearly nine months. It’s gestated just like a baby sans the vomiting and weight gain.
See, bookbinding isn’t just for conservators with 2,000 square feet of art space and thousands of dollars in tools. It’s very inclusive, so join the club! Bookbinding requires a desk, some floor space and a few inexpensive supplies that you might already have. So here it is; learn to bind a flatback journal—just like the blank books in the bookstore—at home, using regular crafting tools. Get your copy by making a selection and clicking the button below. If you’re not sure about the tools to buy, add the tools eBook for only $2 more!
Hello,

Hey Melissa, what a great idea! I’m so glad that you posted this because I have been wanting to make a flat back book, but can’t quite remember how. My notes from the class are so hard to read. I had a question. What is in the tools PDF? Is it just a list of tools? or does that come with the flatback PDF?
I purchased this, and went through paypal… but I was never prompted to down load anything… did i do it wrong?
Thanks, Annie for purchasing my eBook! After I get email confirmation of payment I email out the PDF.
I just emailed you yours. Check your inbox. ;) Enjoy!
Thank you SO MUCH! I just received it! And, WOW, you are so thorough in it! Its way more informative than I was even hoping for! Thanks!
ps: I love your blog! Always WONDERFUL ideas!
I can’t wait to try this – just downloaded the instruction and will have to make a pit stop at Flax or maybe Paper Source. I’ve learned some exposed book bindings already and am excited about this one.
