Designed: My First Tat

I’ve always wanted a tattoo. Seriously, there are a few that I’ve seen that are really cool, but I’ve never had the guts to do it. First, I never wanted to step foot in a tattoo parlor and second, I’m not sure what I’d design that I’d like on my body 3 months from now, let alone 30 years from now.

I finally figured out what I wanted. It’s a word that’s followed me through my entire life, and will follow me forever: create.

It was more than a little nerve wracking to get it done, and more than a tad painful, but nothing that would overshadow childbirth. It’s now starting to heal, so it looks decent enough to show you all. I’m really happy how it turned out!

Love it! I had the same issue with always wanting one and then deciding what I could live with forever.

I got it four years ago and I Still Love It (no pun..I swear! Ha)

      Glad you’re happy with it!

My 55 year old mother just got her first tatoo last spring—and she adores it. She always wanted one but was the same about going into a tatoo parlor. Now she is glad that she did.

Awesome! It’s very you ;) I’ve been dreaming of an anchor tattoo in the same spot as yours with my kids and spouse’s initials worked in. Sigh…

    27. HAHA! You really got me I thought it was real!!! It would be pretty though. Great April fools!

I once met my husband at the airport after he had been on a missions trip overseas for 3 weeks. I got a magnetic nose ring(which wouldnt be all that surprising for me) that was bigger and looks like a piercing stud. He kept looking and finally when we got in the car he was like “oh I’m so disappointed you didn’t even ask me what I thought before doing it.” bahahahaha!
You must understand that was the first and probably only time I have ever been able to successfully punk my husband! That was when I slipped it off my nose and told him it was a fake. Of course he immediately said he knew it the whole time. Sure….
      I know better!!!! I love a good joke :D
