So there’s this new word. And it’s actually a real word. Automagical. Chris tells me this word is most closely related to software/web development. Where you write code and things just automagically happen. Like you know it should work, but it’s still magical when it does.
Chris and I have been working our tails off on a redesign of my calligraphy site, so the word automagical is an over-used term around our home. So I had to put it on one of Chris’s boringly plain tees.
I used Bauhaus font, Silhouette’s yellow flock heat transfer and my cutter, which are also very automagical things. I’m always surprised at how many fun things I can make with my Silhouette. Which brings me to the second reason of this post.
I’M GIVING A SILHOUETTE PORTRAIT AWAY.
Yup. One of you U.S.-based readers will win one. Use the rafflecopter widget below to enter. Hopefully that’s not annoying. Only one hoop to go through, though. Of course, the more hoops you go through, the more chances you have of winning. A winner will be chosen randomly and announced morning of November 28th. Good luck!
I’ve always wanted to use the cameo to help with glass etching. Thanks for the giveaway!
Oh the options of what you can do with these things seems endless. I’d definitely start with some Christmas cards since that’s coming up soon! YAY!
I’d start with an Advent calendar, but I have lots of other ideas.
I want to get a Silhouette because of the endless possibilities to do crafts!! I can make tshirts out of vinyl, paint or fabric. The Silhouette would help me with all of them. I could also make lots of cards and boxes. Oh…my mind goes dizzy!!!!
super awesome!
fancy monogram labels
I could think of hundreds of things to make with a Sihlouette! But the first thing I would do is make some vinyl wall decorations for my baby girl’s room. Thank you for hosting such a great giveaway!
I’ve wanted a Silhouette for ages! I’d love to use one for some serious paper crafting.
I’d love to make some fun vinyl decals.
That shirt is awesome! My husband loves coming up with shirt ideas and he would love playing with this machine!
I keep thinking these are for a scrap booking kind of crafting, and then I see the amazing things you and other bloggers make and I want one! So cool!
I would LOVE to add words to otherwise boring plain tees. Do you ever notice that guy tees are either rather immature or just plain? My guy often has that problem so ends up with just plain tees.
I would love to win as I do alot of work with neonatal intensive care units and with organisations dealing with baby loss. I am very keen to do canvases for these families so they can display their love and memories in a special way.
I guess the real question is what wouldn’t I do with one of these machines. They are amazing!
What would I make first? For starters, Christmas decorations!! Close second probably an obscene amount of vinyl decals.
I would create Christmas Cards, gift tags and ornaments first!
If I won, the first thing I’d create are labels for my canisters.
I love all the possibilites but I’d start with some vinyl wall art.
Everything! The Silhouette is so cool. I would probably mostly make art for decor.
I have about a million ideas as to what I could do with a silhouette! I always make Christmas ornaments and tea towels every year and this will definitely come in handy! Thanks for the opportunity!
I would use it to create custom cards, tags and shapes!
I’d (finally) decorate my daughter’s room.
Oh! Great give away!
There are so many fun projects I would use it for, first though I need to make a “Merry Christmas” banner for our Christmas card photo, then I would have fun making gifts and some scrapbook pages.
I would make TONS of stuff with a Silhouette! T-shirts, decorations, fancy project notebooks, gifts for my niece & nephew…so may possibilities!
I’d love to win one. THe possibilities of all I could do with one, are endless. Right?! :) I’d want to create a snowflake banner to start! Thanks!
I love designing cut vinyl stencils for printmaking and glass etching. I would love to try Silhouette!
I would make an advent calendar, t-shirts, oh the possibilities!!
I literally think of something I would use a silhouette for each and every day.
I’m an elementary music teacher and I wish all too often for a Silhouette to help me make games and assessments for my kiddos. Of course, I’d love to use it around the house too, especially during the holidays!
I would love to start by making little Christmas candy boxes for the kids at school!
I would make some Christmas gifts!
I would love all the amazing things i could create with this great machine!!
I would love to receive this….so many projects in my head!!!!
I would start by making funny Christmas plaques for my friends, and a nameplate for my desk at work.
I’d make some vinyl decals!

The portrait sounds like the perfect size to travel with. Can’t wait to make cards and other scrappy projects. Thanks.
So awesome of you to give this away! So useful for me…. :)
I would definitely use it to make some art I’ve wanted to do, but have no way of doing it.
I would gift it to my mother-in-law, who would use it all the time for her crafts!
I would cut some fabric with it for a applique wall hanging!
Lots of vinyl projects!
I would make lots of cute iron on transfers for my daughter’s clothes.
I would make cards and paper crafts. I’d use it to make home decor items. I would start with making awesome 2014 calendars for my family and friends!
The first thing I would make is a couple superhero logos for 2 capes I am making for my son.
I would label everything in my house!
I make kid clothes and love to craft, so I’m sure I’d find fun ways to use it :)
I would love it to etch glassware!
i would love to use it on christmas decor!
Oh my goodness, I’ve been coveting one of these. What wouldn’t I do with one? Signs, cards, scrapbooking, glass etching, iron ons, EVERYTHING!
